Hi, I’m Em — founder and artist behind Riverstone Dye Co.

Riverstone was born on the river — in sunburned summers, chaotic seasons of growth, and that unmistakable feeling of being fully alive outdoors.

What started as a creative outlet became something bigger: a way to wear your energy.

Because I believe color isn’t just aesthetic.

From Hand-Dyed Cotton to Performance Color

In the early days, I hunted down secondhand gems and gave them new life through dye. That chapter taught me fabric quality, dye chemistry, and how to turn something overlooked into something vibrant and powerful.

As Riverstone has grown — so has the mission.

I now create high-quality, hand-dyed pieces designed to last and move with you. And I’m especially excited about what’s next:

My Process

Every piece is dyed by hand in small batches using professional fiber-reactive dyes that bond permanently to fabric. No peeling. No fading into sadness.

Every swirl has personality.
Every drop of color is intentional.

No two pieces are ever the same — just like the people who wear them.

Sustainability, Intentionally

Even as I move into wholesale performance blanks, sustainability remains part of how I operate. I dye in small batches, minimize waste, reuse water when possible, and create accessories from leftover fabric.
